Air fryer bacon is a game-changer. No stovetop splatter, no greasy pan to clean, and perfectly even crispiness every time. The fat renders and drips away from the bacon as it cooks, making it slightly healthier than pan-fried. Most regular-cut bacon is done in 8–10 minutes at 350°F.
The biggest mistake people make is cooking bacon too hot. Lower and slower gives you evenly crispy strips without burning the thin edges while the thick parts stay chewy.

| Turkey bacon | 400°F | 350°F | 10 min | 7 min | Thinner — watch closely after 5 min. |
| Canadian bacon | 400°F | 375°F | 8 min | 5 min | Already cooked — just warming and crisping. |
| Pancetta | 375°F | 350°F | 10 min | 7 min | Cubed: shake at 4 min. Sliced: no flip. |
Single layer, no overlap — Overlapping strips steam instead of crisping. Cook in batches if needed.
No need to flip regular bacon — The air circulation cooks both sides evenly. Thick-cut benefits from one flip halfway through.
Save the grease — Let it cool, then pour from the drip tray into a jar. Air fryer bacon grease is great for cooking.
For extra crispy — Add 1–2 minutes beyond the recommended time. The line between crispy and burnt is thin, so watch it closely.
